Lots of companies do what we do, but we think you’ll really like working with us. Here’s a look at the typical process we would usually follow for a project.
First of all, after you get in touch with us via phone or email, we will arrange a time & place to meet with you. We bring coffee, a notepad, and a smile. We sit down with you and discuss your project in detail. We listen, we ask a lot of questions, and we capture your requirements. Then we go away and figure out how to make it happen.
Not long after our meeting, we’ll come back to you with a cost estimate. Typically we send this by email, but are more than happy to come and meet with you again to go through it (and you bet we’ll bring coffee with us if we do). You might also have some questions about the quote, or the project in general, which we’ll be happy to answer.
If you decide to accept our estimate, then it’s straight down to business. We will immediately send you a deposit invoice, then we will kick-off the project by drawing up a schedule & specifications document, which will be sent to you 4 to 5 days after the deposit has been paid. And hey, no hard feelings if you don’t accept our quote.
Once the project specifications are signed-off, the real fun begins. Now we can start creating your project. Normally we’ll start off by designing the user experience (UX) and wireframes. Then once those are approved we’ll design the user interface (UI). We then present these to you and, based on your feedback, we’ll refine our designs.
When you’re happy with the UX & UI, our development team can get to work coding up & building your project. You will get regular updates on how we’re progressing, as well as testable demos so you can give us feedback early & often. This process usually takes the longest, but by the end of it your project should be ready to ship.
Finally your project is completed and ready to launch! After some final testing, and your tick of approval, we will prepare everything required to launch your project to the world. We’ll also work out a date & time for us to do the launch, ensuring that everything runs smoothly. And if you need any further support or updates, we’ll be happy to help.
